Several flu cases reported at Carencro Heights Elementary

CARENCRO, La. (KLFY)- More than 57 Carencro Heights Elementary School students are reportedly out sick today due to the flu.

Additional janitorial staff is being brought in the assist in cleaning the campus during and after school hours, LPSS Chief Administrative Officer Jennifer Gardener said.

The school district is advising parents keep children showing signs of flu-like symptoms at home.
