Are beauty subscription box brands taking part in Black Friday 2019?

Some of the big beauty subscription box brands have already announced their Black Friday deals.

Glossybox will launch a limited-edition Black Fri-Yay box for the occasion – which only costs £10 (+£3.25 P&P) for subscribers – £15 for non-subscribers – but has a retail value of over £55.

Birchbox, who have collaborated with Frozen 2 on a limited-edition box for November 2019, are also likely to launch a special subscription box deal for Black Friday.

Beauty e-tailer Look Fantastic, who also have a beauty subscription box for customers, are taking part in a Beauty Blackout, where customers can bag some major deals from top brands like Moroccanoil and Anastasia Beverly Hills.

Whats in a beauty subscription box?

Beauty subscription boxes are packed with a range of full-sized and sample-sized makeup, skincare and hair care products – and often include other surprise goodies, too.

They are a great way for customers to get exposed to new beauty brands, as well as enjoying products from tried-and-tested companies they can’t get enough of.

Often, beauty box subscribers have an edge by getting to try out the latest beauty and makeup products early on.

Signing up to a beauty subscription is also a way to bag some freebies: subscribe to Birchbox’s beauty subscription this November, and you get a full-size Pixi Glow Mist (worth £16) as added enticement.

What was in the sale last year?

In the past, beauty subscriptions have created limited-edition boxes with special goodies for Black Friday, as well as slashing prices on boxes and subscription plans.

This year, it looks like beauty subscription brands a taking a similar approach.

Glossybox has revealed its limited-edition Fri-Yay box, which contains 10 makeup, skincare, haircare and body care must-haves from top brands like MUA, Vitamasques and Unicorn Cosmetics – as well as a full-size £14 lipstick worth more than the entire cost of the box.

How much does beauty subscription delivery cost?
