Playing for Rajasthan, Chahar claimed a hat-trick against Vidarbha in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match. Chahar returned impressive figures of 4/18 in 3 overs to help Rajasthan restrict Vidarbha to 99/9 in 13 overs.
