Wellington couple donates $1.6 million to Kansas State

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) - The estate of a Wellington couple donated $1.6 million to establish scholarships for students in Kansas State's College of Business Administration.

The gift from Otis and Wanda Gilliland established the Gilliland Kansas State Family Scholarship. It creates match opportunities for 50 scholarships for business students.
