Conor McGregor mocked for starring in ‘garbage’ gambling advert where he dresses up as The Joker and squares up to a cat
CONOR McGREGOR was filmed squaring up to a CAT before dressing as The Joker in one of the most bizarre videos you’re likely to see.
And it even pits the Dubliner fighting Mike Tyson – albeit in a computer game.
Never one to shy away from the limelight, the UFC legend takes the ultimate starring role in this promo for a Russian betting company.
The clip begins showing McGregor ‘floating’ in the sky in a leather jacket, arms spread.
Looking his usual menacing self, McGregor has a fist of fire before he meets his match – a cat on a pedestal.
Undeterred the Irishman, wearing yellow gloves, adopts his fighting stance, ready to go to war against the feline.
MCGREGOR THE JOKER
The video then hilariously cuts to what looks like a shipyard of yellow flamingos and then a computer game showing him knocking out boxing legend Mike Tyson.
Then we see a gorilla sat on a throne, its heart pumping with a chest tattoo of McGregor, as alligators approach the primate.
Women wearing rabbit masks parade in skimpy clothing before the 31-year-old appears out of a lift.
He has full The Joker face-paint and is holding a sledgehammer.
The promo is for Russian betting company PariMatch.
But The Notorious has been ridiculed after the video was put out by the company on Twitter.
One posted that it was “G-A-R-B-A-G-E”, while another wrote that “this s**t is so bad”.

Agivoin Mivouse commented “cringe beyond imagination” and Scott Rhodes posted that it was an “awful commercial”.
McGregor has not fought in UFC since he was defeated by bitter rival Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018.
He then announced his retirement five months later – but the general consensus is that he will return to the octagon in the near future.
