Olympic skier Bode Miller reveals he delivered his identical twins a year after his baby daughter drowned in a pool
OLYMPIC skier Bode Miller and his wife have had identical twins, a year after their baby daughter drowned in a neighbour’s pool.
The 42-year-old US star revealed their boys had “finally arrived” and that he helped to deliver them after midwives failed to make it in time.
Bode explained that the twins had kept them “waiting and waiting and waiting” in an interview with E!Online.
But when Morgan Beck, 32, was ready to give birth it was down to him and his mother, a former-midwife.
“But she hadn’t delivered babies in 20 plus years and she never delivered twins,” he told the site.
Morgan wrote about the birth of the twins in an Instagram post.
She said: “A day that couldn’t have been scripted and aligned more perfectly to bring these two into the world.
“Birth story is mind blowing and can’t wait to share. Insanely overwhelmed and grateful for all these gifts my baby girl keeps sending.”

Morgan seemed to believe her children were “gifts” bestowed upon the family by their late-daughter Emeline.
She was 18-months-old when she fell into a neighbours pool and drowned last year.
