Hi... I am posting this question into this category even though it is football related but it's not about actually playing. I have this very old silver cravat pin that I bought over 30 years ago from an antique dealer in London. It was described as a silver football boot and shin pad on a silver skewered pin, circa 1800. Has anybody ever seen anything like this before? I have looked up the history of football boots and it does sort of match the style of boot that was used... laced up over...
Does anyone know what this is?
