Four shot in Richmond, victims expected to survive

RICHMOND — Four people were wounded in a shooting here Wednesday afternoon, police said.

All four victims are all expected to survive. Some of them drove themselves to the hospital, in what officers briefly mistook for a car chase, police said.

The shooting happened before 4 p.m. Wednesday, near 20th Street and Roosevelt Avenue. Dozens of shots were fired.

Police have not released a motive for the shooting, and no arrests have been made.
