Man struck in head with broomstick in Chelsea: police

A man was struck in the head with a broomstick in a random attack in Chelsea, cops said Thursday.

The 24-year-old victim was on 8th Ave. near W. 21st St. around 3 p.m Wednesday when the assault took place, authorities said.
