Serie A giants offer Man Utd strike target to Everton in Kean swap deal

The struggles of Moise Kean at Everton could prompt the club to arrange a swap deal for a Manchester United target, according to reports in Italy.

Kean was a major investment at Goodison Park this summer, but the Italy starlet has struggled to hit the ground running in the Premier League – and talk has already turned to a possible move away in January.

The striker’s father has suggested the former Juventus star should return to Italy, where Roma are interested, but a report from Calciomercato.it suggests another contender for his signature: AC Milan.

According to the report, Everton could consider a swap deal to send Kean to San Siro and get their hands on another under-firing striker in return, with highly-rated Krzysztof Piatek suggested as a replacement.

Piatek burst onto the scene at Genoa last season, continuing his good form at Milan after completing a January transfer. However, his first full season at San Siro has not gone according to plan so far, and there have been rumours he could look for a way out.

A return on loan to Genoa has been mooted, but Everton could leapfrog them in the race to sign him by offering Kean in return.

The Toffees are not the only Premier League club to be considering Piatek though, with Manchester United also tipped to be keeping an eye on him with a view to a bid.
