[Women's Basketball] Lady Skyhawks Fall Short in Close Game to the Yellow Jackets

West Point, Ga. -- The Skyhawks started off hot, but a big third quarter by the Yellow Jackets of Allen University helped the Yellow Jackets in the end beat the Skyhawks. After a back and forth game where neither team could shake one another, it comes down to the wire for the Skyhawks, down by 1 with only a 1:40 to go. The Skyhawks give up a basket on their end of the court and missed their opportunity on the other giving the Yellow Jackets all they needed to pull away with as little time that was left on the clock. Allen would go on to win the game 68-64 and hand the Skyhawks their third loss of the season putting them at 4-3 overall and 2-3 in AAC play.
