[Men's Basketball] Tigers dominate in win over OUE
Georgetown College men's basketball, now 8-0, once again showed why they were the No. 1 team in the country with a dominating win over the Ohio University-Eastern Saturday night. The Tigers have now scored over 100 points in half of their games this season, setting a new high in the Chris Briggs' era with a 154-87 win over the Panthers.
OUE was competitive in the early parts of the game, but after about eight minutes of play, Georgetown's talent was too much for the Panthers to handle. GC went on a 15-4 run and never looked back. The lead would never get below 20, and eventually won by 67 points.
Chris Coffey led the charge with new career-highs in points, 33, and rebounds, 24. He also swatted seven shots against Ohio-Eastern. The Louisville, Ky. native finishes the week averaging 32 points and 21.5 rebounds.
