Apartment burglaries reported in Chatham, Grand Crossing: police

Police are warning South Side residents of apartment burglaries that happened this month in Chatham and Grand Crossing.
In most of the cases, someone forced their way in through a window or front door, Chicago police said in a community alert. The suspects stole items inside.
The burglaries happened:
- At 1:39 a.m. Nov. 2 in the 1000 block of East 80th Street;
- At 11 p.m. Nov. 2 in the 8200 block of South Drexel Avenue;
- At 3 p.m. Nov. 10 in the 7800 block of South Ellis Avenue;
- Between 4 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in the 8200 block of South Ingleside Avenue; and
- At 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 in the 8000 block of South Ellis Avenue.
A description of any suspects wasn’t available, police said.
