For all the movie buffs out there, here is all the information you need to get you ready for Black Widow in 2020.
Does Black Widow have a release date?
It has been confirmed that Black Widow will be released in cinemas on May 1st, 2020.
Development on the newest addition to the Marvel family began all the way back in 2004, 8 years before the first Avengers film was even released!
Scarlett Johansson was cast in the role beginning with her appearance in Iron Man 2 which was released in 2010.
Filming for Black Widow began in May this year and finished in October.
Shooting took place in a variety of locations such as Norway, Hungary, Morocco, Pinewood Studios in England, and in Macon, Georgia.
Who’s in the cast?
Scarlett Johansson plays Black Widow and has waited a long time for this film to become a reality.
As well as Iron Man 2 she has starred in the Captain America: The Winter Soldier in 2014 and Captain America: Civil War in 2016.
Florence Pugh stars as Black Widow’s sister Yelena Belova, a fellow Black Widow recruit.
She has also starred as ex-WWE superstar Paige in a movie about the former wrestler’s life called Fighting For My Family.
David Harbour joins the Marvel franchise as Red Guardian, who seemed to be delighted in the trailer as he is thrilled to have the family back together.
The 44-year-old has starred as Hellboy and is also part of the Netflix original series Stranger Things.
Black Widow also features O-T Fagbenle, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Downey Jr., Ray Winstone, and Olivier Richters.

Has the trailer been released?
Marvel entertainment have released the trailer for the blockbuster movie on their YouTube channel, which is currently trending at number one.
The family come back together again and Black Widow tells Yelena that they have ‘unfinished business’ and they need to ‘go back to where it all started’.
Fans have been crying out for the Black Widow character to have a stand-alone movie and they have now got their wish.
Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige revealed that conversations about a stand-alone Black Widow movie were ongoing back in 2010, following the release of Iron Man 2 and the first Avengers movie which was released in 2012.
