United Airlines passenger shocked after being ‘stung by a SCORPION on San Francisco flight’

A STUNNED plane passenger was stung by a SCORPION mid-flight after the creature fell from her trousers.

The United Airlines customer was given the nasty surprise on a flight from San Francisco to Atlanta.

A photograph of the creature was posted by TMZ after the woman’s ordeal on Friday – when it fell from her trouser leg after repeatedly stinging her.

The passenger was met by paramedics on landing and rushed to hospital.

A spokeswoman for United Airlines told Sun Online: “After learning that one of our customers on flight 1554 from San Francisco to Atlanta was stung during flight, our crew responded immediately and consulted with a MedLink physician on the ground who provided medical guidance.

“Upon landing in Atlanta, the flight was met by medical personnel and the customer was transported to a local hospital.

“We have been in contact with our customer to ensure her wellbeing.”

It’s not first time that a scorpion has made its way onto a flight.

In February, a passenger caught a scorpion on video as it crawled out of an overhead bin after the Lion Air flight landed in Indonesia, Fox reported.

Just a month later, a student flying from Toronto to Calgary was stung by a scorpion in the middle of the flight.
