Was a run in the 2nd half where he ran with the ball a long way.
For an old guy he showed real pace
Can tell Pablo had real speed in his prime, its definitely fading but it was a lovely moment, turning back the clock 10 years
Imo while he will need rotating, having Klich next to him and younger legs like Costa, Harrison, Ayling and Ali outside him definitely lets Pablo save his energy more as a 10.
His winger days are behind him but as a 10 he has a crucial role to play.
Pacey 34 year old Pablo sprinting away from players 10 years younger.
Love to see it
Sometimes people get too hung up about age when it comes to pace. Whilst yes you will gradually get slower with age once you get past your peak age sprinting wise you can still keep going at a decent pace. I am 44 and probably the quickest of all the players at the 7 a side I play and there is a broad mix of age from late teens upwards (I am one of the oldest). A key thing to consider is the intensive fitness that Bielsa demands. That will mean that Pablo can play at a constant level throughout the match so he will likely be faster than an opposition player that may initially be faster but is flagging as he is 'dead on his feet' due to him having to work harder than usual.
