Company wants to pay you $5000 to reign over a Scottish castle for a week… and drink unlimited coffee
A COFFEE company is hiring a caffeine “queen” to reign over a European castle for a week on a huge salary with an unlimited coffee supply.
Gevalia Kaffe will pay one lucky American $5000 to take an all-expenses paid trip to Scotland for two people with accommodation for six nights.
The Coffee Queen of Gevalia will rule over Carlowrie Castle in Edinburgh, which has 12 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and 32 acres of land.
They will receive $2,000 in spending money an enjoy the luxury of a personal chef, butler, and a coffee-infused spa treatment for people.
The Sweedish company want a “self-proclaimed ‘coffee lover’ with a reputation of (and passion for) living like a Queen already.”
The crowned winner will “enjoy spa treatments, award-winning catering, all the delicious coffee drinks their heart desires.”
And their may be a surprise or two along the way for the lucky coffee-lover who fills out the 30-second application.
Senior Associate Brand Manager Tina Bletnitsky said: “[A] Queen is anyone who transforms into the most confident version of themselves after that first cup of coffee.
“They speak their minds, are self-aware, and aren’t afraid to make fun of themselves.
“At Gevalia, we want to celebrate the Queen in everyone, and now we’re just making it official.”
Potential coffee queens can apply through Dec. 21 by submitting a a character essay in less than 250 words.
The official rules state that the essay describing why you are a coffee queen in real life.

The submissions will be mostly judged on attitutude (confidence is key), creativity, and focussed on coffee of course.
The potential winner will be told they’ve won a royal jaunt to the Scottish capital around December 30.
