Man, 28, stabbed to death in North London in early hours attack as suspect charged with murder

DETECTIVES charged a man with murder after a man in his 20s was stabbed to death today in North West London – just hours after another fatal stabbing in the capital.

Dmytro Balaban, 28, was fatally knifed in Neasden in the early hours of Sunday morning as the capital’s bloodbath rages on.

Emergency services battled to save his life after being called to Village Way, but he was declared dead at the scene at 2.08am.

Volodymyr Hololvatskyi, 23, who lives in Village Way, was arrested and remains in custody.

He was charged with murder and will appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.

A video showed the residential street cordoned off with police cars parked along the road.

It was the second murder in London in just a few hours after a man was stabbed to death and a woman injured in a savage knife attack in East London.

Cops arrested a man, 59, on suspicion of murder after they were called to the bloodbath in Dagenham last night.

London’s murder toll this year surpassed 2018’s number of 137 after three murders in 24 hours between December 5 and 6.
