The aim of the video is to trick to thieves stealing deliveries off from home porches.

The disguised Bose headphones package, which is actually a device used to set off a glitter explosion and a disgusting fart spray, is placed on a doorstep in the hope of luring in a thief.

Meanwhile, four camera phones are also inserted inside to help capture the culprits reaction.

Mark admits that the prank is based on Macauley’s Home Alone character.

During the video, Macauley gets a whiff of the fart scent himself.

Mark sprays the scent over Macauley, which leaves him violently coughing.

His face goes red as he admits: “I can still smell it!”

The Youtube star previously recorded the video last year without the help of Macauley.

Earlier this month, Disney confirmed plans to bring back Home Alone to the small screen.

Jojo Rabbit star Archie Yates, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’s Ellie Kemper and Rob Delaney will all reportedly star in the original film which will follow a new character who finds himself in a similar situation to Kevin.

However, Macauley will not take part in the reboot.

It will air on Disney+ and is the first original scripts to be announced since the streaming service was launched in the United States in November.
