Northwest killer whales are shrinking in size — and so are their prey, chinook salmon, new research shows

A study done with drone photography revealed that younger killer whales are up to half a meter shorter than their older, healtheir peers. Chinook salmon, meanwhile, measure up to 9% shorter than in the past.
