New Jersey Motorsports Park prepares to kick off 2014 season

New Jersey Motorsports Park kicks off the 2014 season this upcoming weekend, March 15-16, with a pair of “NJMP Track Day” experiences.

Participants can choose from paced and progressive paced laps options on Lightning Raceway (Saturday, March 15) and Thunderbolt Raceway (Sunday, March 16), with registration taking place at www.njmp.com/experiences.

This is also the first weekend of the calendar year that the Park opens its gates and provides fans the opportunity to take part in Arrive and Drive karting at the Go-Karting facility, located inside the Lightning Raceway paddock. Reservations are encouraged and can be made by calling 856-327-7213.

Throughout opening weekend at NJMP, the Finish Line Pub will be open starting at 11:00 a.m., offering casual dining in a comfortable atmosphere. The General’s Store, located in the Thunderbolt Raceway paddock, will also open its doors during the track days, filled with racing supplies, souvenirs, and convenience items.

For those looking to make the most of the activity-filled days, VIP suites are available for a discounted $50 on Saturday night, paired with a FREE VIP garage.
