Coronation Street fans sickened as Robert Preston AND Gary Windass are shot in Christmas Day bloodbath
CORONATION Street’s Christmas Day episode saw Robert Preston AND Gary Windass gunned down – leaving fans sickened.
Deranged Derek Milligan went on a rampage looking for Gary, but accidentally shot the chef first (Tristan Gemmill) in the ITV soap.
Robert was walking back into the Rovers to meet ex wife Michelle, when things ended tragically for him.
As he walked with a spring in his step to the door, Derek fired the gun he had stolen from Gary’s shop to prove it was loaded.
Gary goaded him into it and then gave chase while Robert stumbled passed the windows of the pub, unnoticed.
He fell in the street and wasn’t found until later on when Aggie Bailey left her house for a stroll with son James.
For fans it was all too much, as they took to Twitter to share their shock.
One wrote: “Roberts been shot!!!!!! The rumours were true!!!! Nooooooo”
