Salvation of a pensioner from the train
In Pyatigorsk, an elderly man who had fallen on the rails was saved by a policeman and an eyewitness: a pensioner with a cane crashed from a platform in front of an approaching train - his cart drove over the edge and pulled grandfather behind him.
Senior sergeant Indris Zhangeriev saw a fall and rushed to the pensioner to help. His partner, in turn, ran in the direction of the train, signaling the driver about the incident.
Together with an accidental eyewitness - now the police are finding out his identity to express gratitude - the sergeant managed to move the fallen grandfather away from the railway track. "Seconds before the arrival of the locomotive," as the press service of the transport police in the North Caucasus Federal District told .
In the hospital, the patient was diagnosed with fractures of two ribs. It is reported that the reason for the fall of the pensioner was his poor eyesight.
