POLICE raced to a home in Florida after neighbor’s called 911 mistaking a pet parrot for a woman screaming.
Rambo, a green parrot, had been taught to say “Help! Help!” and “Let me out!” and was introduced to four Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies.
A video showing the hilarious encounter has gone viral as Rambo can be heard screaming “Somebody help!” at the beginning of the clip.
The owner was fixing the brakes on his wife’s Mini Cooper when police showed up telling him: “Your neighbor thinks there was screaming.”
The unidentified man replies: “I’ll bring the screamer to ya.”
When he brought his 40-year-old bird from his perch in the backyard out he told the officers: “Rambo, meet the boys in green.”
The video, which was posted to the deputies’ Facebook account, shows the parrot telling police “hello” and performing tricks.
The owner explained he trained the parrot to make the distressing pleas when he was a kid and kept Rambo in a cage.
He wrote: “I promptly introduced the officers to Rambo and we all had a good laugh.

“She too had a good laugh. Sometimes Rambo yells ‘help, help, let me out’. Something I taught him when I was a kid and Rambo lived in a cage.”
