IT’S one of the most important nights in Hollywood – and the stars certainly haven’t disappointed when it comes to their glitzy Golden Globes attire.
Kicking off awards season in style, Jennifer Aniston led the glamour on the red carpet as she arrived in a show-stopping black strapless gown.
The former Friends star – who is up for several awards for her starring role in The Morning Show – oozed old Hollywood glamour in the sleek and sophisticated gown.
Allowing her dress to take centre stage, Jennifer styled her hair in her signature lose waves and wore a layered diamond necklace to add a little glitz to her monochrome look.
Meanwhile, Olivia Colman kicked off the statement sleeve trend in a chic red dress.
The Crown actress’ scarlet frock was not only bang on trend thanks to its puff sleeve detail, but also featured a simple and sophisticated train – and to finish it all off, the star added a matching clutch bag and trendy pointed heels.
Taking a leaf out of Jennifer Aniston’s books, Scarlett Johansson paid tribute to Old Hollywood with her classic red satin gown – complete with a plunging V-neckline and voluminous train.
Naturally, it wouldn’t be a Hollywood event without some truly daring outfits making an appearance too – and Jennifer Lopez pulled out all the stops in her eye-catching gold bow gown as she arrived at the event with her fiance Alex Rodriguez.
Gwyneth Paltrow took a style gamble when she turned up on the red carpet in a completely see-through brown tiered dress.

Kirsten Dunst was the definition of pretty in pink as she arrived at the awards in a frilly, pastel gown while Renee Zellweger followed in Nicole Kidman‘s footsteps with her strapless, figure-hugging gown which exposed a bit of leg.
And it seems as though pastels were all on the rage on the red carpet as Dakota Fanning arrived in a pretty purple gown with statement puff sleeves.
The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actress paired her fairytale dress with minimal jewellery and opted for natural, radiant makeup.
Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge led the way for ladies wearing suits to the red carpet event – as she stunned in a Chanel tweed two-piece.
Reality star Kristin Cavallari looked sensational in a midriff-baring pink metallic crop top which she paired with an elegant crisp white maxi skirt.

Taylor Swift‘s long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn – who inspired her hit song London Boy – looked sharp as he walked the red carpet solo in a black tuxedo.
And it’s looking like it will be a big night for Fleabag actor Andrew Scott, who wore a white tuxedo jacket and satin bow tie for the special occasion.
