Report: How long Spurs could be without Harry Kane for
Harry Kane had the worst possible start to 2020 after he was forced off in the 75th minute of the game against Southampton on New Year’s Day with a hamstring tear.
While Spurs made an official announcement confirming that the striker had suffered a tear, they did not confirm whether it was a grade 2 or a grade 3 tear. While grade two is a partial tearing of the hamstring, grade three is a complete muscle tear.
Sports Medicine Australia report that if the Spurs No.10 has suffered a grade two tear, then he could be out for at least four weeks and possibly a maximum of eight weeks.
If however, it is a grade three tear, it is claimed that Kane could require surgery and might potentially be out of action for around three months.
