An NFL Classic

In today’s NFL, not only are championships typically in Sun Belt cities, they’re usually in domes too (and always if they are in a northern city).

That wasn’t the case in 1967 when Vince Lombardi’s Green Bay Packers took on the Dallas Cowboys in what became known as the Ice Bowl.

Needless to say, it wasn’t played in Dallas. It was in Green Bay and it was -13.

Now that’s a tough game.

Anyway, here’s a video about that one of a kind playoff game where the weather could still play a major role.

Not to spoil anything, but Lombardi’s team won. Of course it did.
