Queens charter school evacuated amid bomb threat

A Queens charter school was evacuated Thursday after an anonymous caller threatened to “bomb the school up,” officials said.

Administrators at the New Dawn Charter High School on 161st St. near 89th Ave. in Jamaica cleared the school after receiving the threat at 8:20 a.m., officials said.
