Pound US dollar exchange rate sinks as the Bank of England hints at interest rate cut

The pound US dollar exchange rate eased by around -0.4 percent today, with the pairing currently trading around $1.304 after Mark Carney, the Governor of the Bank of England , hinted at a possible interest rate cut to boost the UK’s flagging economy.
