Pound euro exchange rate tumbles on Mark Carney’s dovish comments

At the time of writing the GBP/EUR exchange rate is trading at around €1.1727, having fallen roughly 0.6 per cent from its opening levels in response to comments from Bank of England Governor Mark Carney earlier today.
