Harry Kane to undergo surgery on left hamstring

  Kane is expected to return to training in April After picking up an injury at Southampton, Harry Kane will have to get surgery on a ruptured hamstring in his left tendon.
Tottenham Hotspur confirmed reports that the forward’s injury was a fairly serious one, with the surgery being a recommendation from specialists. However, Spurs say the surgery has not impacted his timeline and that Kane is expected to return to training in April.
The statement from the club backs up a report from The Guardian’s David Hytner that Kane would spend several weeks out with his latest injury, though the confirmed timeline is longer than reported.
