Tottenham confirm length of Harry Kane’s hamstring problem

Tottenham have suffered a major blow after the club confirmed that Harry Kane has been ruled out for three months with a hamstring injury.
The 26-year-old suffered the injury in the Premier League defeat at Southampton on New Year’s Day and will undergo surgery to repair a ruptured tendon in his left hamstring.


Kane is expected to return to training in April and will miss at least 14 games in total, including the crucial trip to Chelsea, both legs of Spurs’ Champions League last 16 tie against Red Bull Leipzig, but could be back in time for the first ever North London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 25 April.
