Ampatuan kin suspended for graft
The Sandiganbayan has placed Shariff Saydona Mustapha Mayor Datu Sajid Islam Ampatuan under preventive suspension for 90 days in connection with his graft case. The graft and malversation charges were for his alleged involvement in the P98.249-million ghost purchase of corn, palay and fertilizer in 2009. —Patricia Denise M. Chiu
