Brexit Day news: LIVE updates as crowds start gathering in London for countdown to leaving the EU
PARLIAMENT Square in London is starting to fill up ahead of the UK’s exit from the EU at 11pm tonight.
Boris Johnson and his cabinet met in Sunderland today, the first place to officially vote to leave the EU.
They discussed the next steps for the Brexit process, and then headed back to London.
The PM will host a reception at Downing Street for his staff, ahead of celebrations.
