KATIE Price was all smiles with her family during her recent trip to Spain – despite her mum being critically ill.

The glamour model, 41, took to the Spanish streets with her mum Amy, 67, and two kids Junior, 14, and Princess, 10, and are making the most of their time with her after she was diagnosed with Idopathic pulmonary fibrosis in 2017.

The family were all in good spirits despite Katie describing her mum as “not very well” earlier this week.

Katie linked arms with her mum and kids as they browsed through a range of shops during their getaway to the sunny country, including some jewellery shops.

For her shopping attire, Katie opted for some comfy blue leggings, a fluffy pink jacket and grey jumper.

She accessorised her outfit with a designer Gucci bag which was placed around her waist and some fluffy pink slippers to match her coat.

Princess kept it casual just like her mum with some similar blue leggings and a cosy black puffa jacket.

She kept her gorgeous blonde locks out of her face with a high pony tail and happily linked arms with her mum and grandma.

Katie’s teenage son kept on trend with all the latest sports brands including a black North Face puffa jacket, a Puma fleece and Nike trainers.

Amy opted for a bright yellow puffa jacket, some funky checkered trousers and some white trainers.

Amy was diagnosed with the incurable disease three years ago.

Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis is an illness which causes scarring to the lungs and in hand reduces the ability to breathe – and earlier this week Katie told her Instagram followers that she’d gone to Spain because her mum wasn’t very well.

She wrote: “Come to see my mum with two of my babies unfortunately she isn’t well but so happy she is smiling we are here.”

During an appearance on Loose Women in April last year Amy revealed that the warmer weather helps ease her symptoms.

“Late January I was suffering so much with the cold weather. I went to Spain and some friends found me a tiny little apartment by the sea.

“The warmer weather makes me feel much better. If I go walking in the U.K. I do 2,000 steps whereas in Spain I can do 10,000 steps and I don’t cough,” she said.

When Katie heard about the news she took to Twitter to show her support to her beloved mother and other suffers – and went on to run the London Marathon in 2018 for the charity.

She said: “As a shock to us all, Me and my family are proud to be supporting the British Lung foundation to help support awareness and raising funds for research of IPF.

Amy turned down Katie’s offer to give her a lung to help her condition

“With this we can help in other diagnosis and create awareness for people with IPF.”

The mum-of-five has even offered to give her mum a lung, but Amy turned down the offer.

She told The Sunday Mirror: “I said no, you’re not going to do that. You’ve got to think if, by any chance, it went wrong, who’s going to look after your kids?

“You’ve got to think about your children, not me, and what’s going to happen to them.

“Of course, I was so touched at her offer. But Kate is my child, not the other way around. I have to protect her.
“So there will be no lung transplant from Kate. I can’t allow it.”

Last year Amy’s condition had go so bad that Katie went to visit her mum in Spain and described it as their “final” holiday with her.

A source previously told The Sun Online: “Katie wants to make the most of the time her mum has left, so it’s a sort of ‘bucket list’ trip.

“Katie’s painfully aware that every holiday could be her mum’s last so taking the reality show cameras with them on the holiday will be a way of capturing precious memories.”

The mother-of-five has previously spoken of her heartache over her mum’s condition, with her short-lived rehab stint last year one of her mum’s ‘dying wishes’.

An insider told us at the time: “Amy and Katie are very close and Katie’s always asking her if there’s something she wants to do before she gets too unwell.
