Rio Ferdinand believes that the race for a place in the top four of the Premier League is still up for grabs.
Fourth place Chelsea are currently eight points adrift of Leicester City who occupy third spot.
Jose Mourinho has lifted Spurs from fourteenth place to fifth and are just four points behind Chelsea with a trip to Stamford Bridge on the horizon later this month.
Ferdinand who won the Premier League title at United has claimed that there are four or five teams who are competing for fourth with it to play for following Chelsea’s recent poor run of form.
Spurs are looking to secure their fifth successive top four finish and the rewards which come with another campaign of Champions League football.
