High winds, severe storms moving toward US bases in Kaiserslautern area

Violent thunderstorms and nearly hurricane-force winds were forecast to strike in the vicinity of Ramstein Air Base and other U.S. installations beginning Sunday night, with severe weather expected to continue into Tuesday for much of Germany.
