[Women's Basketball] Cummins obtains fourth MSC Player of Week honor of season

Behind a pair of strong outings, including a massive performance in a 103-101 double-overtime victory over Campbellsville, senior point guard Bailey Cummins was named as the Mid-South Conference's Player of the Week for a fourth time during the 2019-20 season, as announced by conference officials on Monday afternoon.

Cummins, who averaged an astonishing 27 points and 6.5 assists on 62.1 percent shooting for the week, obtained the award behind a career-best performance in the double-overtime win over the Tigers. The Brooksville, Ky. native went 13-of-17 from the floor, knocked down seven of her nine three-point attempts, and hit her patented floater to collect on the game-winning shot with four seconds left to lead the No. 7 Bears over the No. 2-ranked Tigers. She also shot 66.7 percent from three point range (8-of-12) and 90.9 percent from the foul line (10-of-11) during the season.
