The women's basketball program at Shawnee State, behind its second victory over Campbellsville in a month span, along with a come-from-behind victory over Georgetown and a double-digit win over Thomas More, continued to remain inside the NAIA Division I Top 25 as the Bears obtained 167 votes in the newest version of the poll to obtain a No. 9 overall ranking.

With their inclusion in the Feb. 12 edition of the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Poll, head coach Jeff Nickel has led Shawnee State to a program-record streak of 55 consecutive appearances inside the NAIA Top 25. SSU hasn't been ranked outside of the NAIA Division I Top 25 Poll since Oct. 28, 2014.
