[Competitive Dance] Competitive Dance Ranked No. 5 in Latest NAIA Top 25 Poll

Kansas City, MO - Grand View competitive dance was one of the five Heart of America Conference schools earning a spot in the Top 25 of the NAIA's latest update of the national scoring database. 

Leading the way, Grand View ranks No. 5 with a season scoring average of 84.50 points through three competitions. In the latest competition, the Vikings traveled to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the Mustang Classic. Grand View swept the competition and brought home three victories over Graceland University, William Penn Unviersity, and Viterbo University. 

Following the Vikings is No. 6 Bakerwith an average of 82.70 points through five performances. No. 9 Mount Mercy and No. 10 Central Methodist round out the top ten programs with averages of 76.35 points and 73.89 points, respectively. Graceland wraps up the Top 25 mentions at the No. 23 spot with an average score of 60.34 points. 

Grand View is set to compete this Saturday, February 15, at the Heart of America Conference Championships. Hosted by MidAmerica Nazarene, competitive dance prelims are set to begin at 11:00 a.m. in Olathe, Kansas.
