State police at DuBois

• State police received a report about an incident of harassment Feb. 6 on Mill Run Road in Huston Township, Clearfield County. As a result of a domestic, state police cited a 33-year-old Penfield man for harassment through the district court.
• State police were notified Feb. 4 that an individual allegedly failed to comply with Megan’s Law regulations in Snyder Township, Jefferson County. Charges were filed through the district court.

State police at Punxsutawney

• State police conducted a traffic stop that resulted in a drug violation Feb. 3 on Industrial Park Road in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County. During the stop, a trooper seized suspected marijuana and discovered the driver, a 22-year-old DuBois man, to have active arrest warrants. He was transported to the Punxsutawney barracks and then to the Jefferson County Jail on the warrants.
• State police received a report about an incident of harassment Feb. 9 on Irvin Street in Mahaffey Borough. Upon arrival on-scene, troopers found the victim wasn’t injured in the domestic altercation, and a 30-year-old Mahaffey woman was cited for harassment and disorderly conduct.

State police at Rockview

• State police received a report about an alleged assault Monday on East Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. As a result of a physical domestic, state police filed charges against a 38-year-old Philipsburg man.
• State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Jan. 29 on B Street in Rush Township, Centre County. As a result of a landlord/tenant issue, state police cited eight people for harassment, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
• State police received a report about an alleged Protection from Abuse order violation Tuesday in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. The investigation is continuing at this time.

Clearfield Borough

• Police responded to a reported security alarm at a local business. Upon arrival, it was determined to be a false alarm.
• Police received a report about a lost wallet.
• Police responded to a reported motor vehicle crash on South Front Street. No injuries were reported as a result.
• Police received a report about a possible break-in. According to police, a witness observed a male, as he entered a residence through a window. Upon investigation, officers found that he had locked himself out of his residence.
• While on patrol, police observed an unlocked door at a local business. No signs of forced entry were observed, and it was believed to have been accidentally left unlocked.
• Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle occupied by an individual taking pictures of a residence. Upon arrival, it was found to be a representative from an insurance company.
• Police received a report about a male attempting to enter a residence to retrieve his property. However, he wasn’t there upon police arrival on-scene.
• Police encountered a wanted male during a traffic stop. He was subsequently taken into custody.
• Police received a report about a phone scam. According to police, it involved an individual claiming to be a representative with the Publisher’s Clearing House.
• Police responded to a noise complaint over a barking dog. According to police, the caller said the dog interfered with his ability to watch television.  Upon arrival, police found the barking dog wasn’t unreasonably loud.
• Police were requested to check the welfare of an elderly female. Police made contact with the female who was found to be OK.
• Police received a parking complaint. Because there weren’t any signs in place, the matter was found to be civil in nature.
• Police responded to a report of an elderly female who was having difficulty breathing. Police and emergency personnel arrived and assisted on-scene.

Lawrence Township

• Police received a report about a theft that occurred July 31, 2019 on Pifer Road in Clearfield. During the incident, 39-year-old Crystal Wise of Clearfield allegedly stole over $6,500 worth of property from the victim’s residence. In an interview with police, Wise confessed to commission of the theft, and the appropriate charges were filed through the district court.
