Woman shows off homemade corner sofa she made for next to nothing using her old couches
AS much as we’d love to have a corner sofa to snuggle up on every evening, they’re up there with the most expensive items of furniture you can buy for your home.
But rather than saving up all our hard-earned pennies in the hopes that we’ll one day be able to splash out on a spacious sofa, one savvy DIY fan has revealed how she made one herself using furniture she already owned.

Posting on the Facebook group DIY On a Budget Official, Lisa Bottomley revealed that she’d made the corner sofa of her dreams for next to nothing.
She wrote: “When you want a corner sofa and can’t afford a new one!”
Explaining how she pieced it together, Lisa revealed that she unbolted two arms off her four and three seater sofas.
She then turned the arms on their sides and used them as back rests to bridge the gap between the two sofas.

She continued: “Added a small table from IKEA and a small throw over the table. Added cushions and I’ve now got a corner sofa!”
Needless to say, Lisa’s step-by-step guide was an inspiration to thousands of other members of the group.
One replied: “That’s awesome! Well done!!!”
Another added: “Love this! Looks amazing.”
“Wow ballsy move,” a third replied. “But definitely paid off, well done.”
