Justin Bieber calls himself ‘dangerous’ as he defends challenging Tom Cruise to a fight
JUSTIN Bieber has insisted he would beat Tom Cruise in a fight, insisting that the 57-year-old is “not the guy you see in movies”.
Less than a year after he first made the challenge on Twitter, Justin revealed that although his original tweet was him “just being stupid”, he would now be down for the MMA fight.
Appearing on James Corden‘s Carpool Karaoke, he declared that he was “dangerous” and that his “agility is insane”, after James mocked his strength.
“I don’t think it would be much fun for you,” the British presenter told Justin.
“I gotta say, if you and me have a fight, you win. If you and Tom Cruise have a fight, I’d back Tom every day of the week.”
In response, Justin said: “Absolutely not. I’m trying not to let my ego get in the way, but there’s absolutely no way. He’s not the guy you see in movies.”
As James continued, hinting that the singer should “work” his way up to Tom by fighting James and perhaps “Zach Braff”, Justin became riled up.
“I start to get frustrated. You’re really boiling me up!” he laughed, “I’m gonna f**kin’ fight you, bro!”
He then declared: “I’m dangerous!
“My agility is insane. I don’t think you understand the mind control that I have! My mind control is another specimen. I’m different. I’m the Conner McGregor of entertainment!”
Justin and James then enjoyed an arm wrestle in the car, to which Justin won and James retorted: “You still couldn’t beat Tom Cruise.”
The Yummy singer tweeted in June 2019: “I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon.
“Tom if you dont take this fight your scared and you will never live it down.
“Who is willing to put on the fight? @danawhite.”
In response, Irish professional mixed martial artist and boxer Conor McGregor tweeted: “If Tom Cruise is man enough to accept this challenge, McGregor Sports and Entertainment will host the bout.
“Does Cruise have the sprouts to fight, like he does in the movies? Stay tuned to find out!”
Tom has never responded to the challenge but UFC president Dana White claimed he would be an “idiot” not to promote a fight between the pair.
