[Men's Basketball] SSU men receiving votes in NAIA D-I Poll

The men's basketball program at Shawnee State obtained receiving vote status in the latest version of the NAIA Division I Poll as the Bears dropped slightly from its previous ranking of No. 22. The poll was released Wednesday by NAIA officials.

Shawnee State (19-9, 8-6), who collected 48 points, is receiving the most votes of the teams who garnered mention just outside of the NAIA Top 25 Poll. The Bears sit 13 points behind No. 25 Talladega and 16 points behind No. 24 Clarke (Iowa) and No. 23 Texas Wesleyan.
