Ahead of Donald Trump's India visit, Narendra Modi govt clears purchase of 24 MH-60R Seahawk helicopters worth $2.5 billion

"The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) cleared the procurement of 24 MH-60R multi-role helicopters for the navy," according to a senior government official. The CCS is headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
