Alcohol and cars ‘should never go together’
Journalist and Commentator Corrine Barraclough says alcohol and cars “should never go together”.
The Sunday Telegraph reported that the NSW state government is pushing for a 0.02 blood alcohol limit for drivers.
Research suggests that if this action were taken, alcohol related deaths could be reduced by 100 people each year.
Ms Barraclough said it was “absolutely bizarre that anybody could think it makes sense to have any alcohol in your system when your operating machinery”.
According to Broadcaster and Commentator Jim Ball “many of the European brands have great non-alcoholic beers” for those who need to be behind the wheel.
