Cheeky Prince Philip once joked that the Queen’s ‘flawless’ complexion is ‘like that all over’, reveal royal insider
PRINCE Philip is known for his risque remarks which have landed him in hot water in the past, but he once made a naughty joke about his wife – the Queen.

The Duke made the inappropriate while chatting with his cousin[/caption]It’s emerged the 98-year-old once cracked a joke about his wife’s figure, according to the Mirror‘s former royal correspondent, James Whitaker.
The Duke was having a conversation with his cousin, Patricia Mountbatten, when she brought up the Queen’s radiant skin.
James wrote: “When Philip’s cousin Patricia Mountbatten remarked on Elizabeth’s flawless complexion, the Prince joked: ‘Yes, and she’s like that all over.”
The 93-year-old is known for wearing minimal make-up, and letting her natural beauty shine through.

She wrote: “Elizabeth follows the rule of understatement in makeup says Mrs. Holland – a safe rule for everyone.
“She has flawless skin and doesn’t need to plaster it with heavy foundation tints.
The Duke made a rather inappropriate comment about his wife’s skin[/caption]“In general she likes pinky tones in lipstick and cosmetics, having learned early on in life that pink is the most flattering tone for practically all women.
“She does not go in for heavy eye makeup, since her lashes and brows are naturally dark and well shaped, and her blue eyes are one of her most attractive feature.”
Prince Phillip has previously made interesting remarks about his family, including while the Queen was pregnant with their third child, Prince Andrew, in 1959.
