Disney names Impossible Burger its 'preferred plant-based burger'

Impossible Foods said Tuesday that its plant-based meats will be available across Walt Disney Co. theme parks and cruise lines, with the Impossible Burger serving as the "preferred plant-based burger" at Walt Disney Resort, Disneyland Resort and Disney Cruise Line. On Feb. 28, Disney will debut Impossible Foods items at the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, including the Petite Impossible Burger, served with guacamole and pepper jack cheese, Impossible Cheeseburger Mac & Cheese, and the Impossible Meatball Submarine. Disney stock is down 1.4% in Tuesday trading, but up 15.4% for the past year. The Dow Jones Industrial Average has gained 6.7% over the last 12 months.
