Bochco helped develop such popular series as Hill Street Blues, L.A. Law, Doogie Howser, M.D. and NYPD Blue.

The retreat features a three-bedroom, four-bath main house, and a two-bedroom, two-bath guest house built on 47 acres in Napa Valley. In total, there is 5,600 square feet of living space, which also includes a great room, a library, patios and much more. Outdoors, there are multiple covered dining areas, a pool deck with a spa and an olive grove.

Hillary Ryan and Ginger Martin with Compass are the listing agents.

Bochco won 10 Emmy awards over his four decade career. He and his widow used the Napa estate as an escape from Hollywood and shared it with friends and family. Bochco died in 2018.
