WA told to brace for more heavy rain and damaging winds

Western Australia has been told to brace for wild weather after a severe storm swept through Perth, bringing damaging winds and heavy rain.

The city's northern suburbs were the worst hit with the super-cell causing flash flooding overnight.

Emergency crews are working to reconnect homes and businesses after about 18,000 customers in the metro area lost power.
